X-ray fluorescence (XRF) chemical analysis allows analysis and quantification of the chemical composition of materials. This analysis method has the great quality of being easily portable and is widely used for inspection of materials in situ.

X-ray fluorescence (XRF) chemical analysis can analyze the following alloys:

• alloy steels
• stainless steels
• copper alloys
• nickel alloys
• titanium alloys
• aluminium alloys
• zinc alloys

Note: X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis cannot analyze carbon content.
